For more than 45 years, my husband and I have called Essex Junction home. Together we've raised three children, welcomed eight grandchildren, and built a life centered on family, hard work, and community.
As a private piano teacher, I operate a small business from my home. Like many Vermonters, I understand the challenges of balancing family, work, rising costs, and the responsibilities that come with everyday life.
Although I wasn't born in Vermont, this state has been my home for nearly five decades. I've come to love Vermont's natural beauty, its independent spirit, and the strong sense of community that makes our towns special.
When I'm not teaching, you'll often find me gardening, sewing, tackling DIY home projects, or searching for treasures at local thrift shops. I also love to cook. Most Saturday evenings, our family of 15 gathers around the table for a home-cooked meal, a tradition that reminds me just how important strong families and close-knit communities are.
I believe our community deserves leaders who listen before they legislate.
Families across Chittenden-23 are feeling the pressure of rising property taxes, a higher cost of living, concerns about public safety, and government that too often seems disconnected from the people it serves.
I'm running for the Vermont House because I believe we need practical, common-sense leadership that focuses on affordability, accountability, and protecting the quality of life that has made Vermont such a wonderful place to live.
Serving in Montpelier isn't about advancing special interests. It's about representing the people who elected you.
Whether we agree on every issue or not, I want to hear your concerns, your ideas, and your hopes for our district. Good government begins by listening.
I would be honored to earn your support and the opportunity to serve Chittenden-23 in the Vermont House.
